Swan Lake

Swan Lake brings one of classical ballet’s most treasured stories to the Strathmore stage in a full-scale production presented by Classical Arts Entertainment and performed by the United European Ballet. The ballet follows Prince Siegfried as he falls in love with Princess Odette, who has been cursed by the evil sorcerer Rothbart to live as a swan by day and regain her human form only at night. With expressive choreography, dramatic storytelling, and beloved scenes such as the Dance of the Little Swans, the production captures the romance, mystery, and theatrical magic that have made Swan Lake a favorite for generations.

Set to Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s immortal score, this family-friendly staging combines classical ballet tradition with the grandeur of a romantic masterpiece. Audiences can expect elaborate hand-painted sets, exquisite costumes created by European designers, and a cast of international dancers. The production is promoted by Classical Arts Entertainment under the leadership of Michael Art and is designed to appeal to all ages, making it a fitting evening of music, dance, drama, and wonder. The performance is given in two acts with one intermission.
