"Facing the Unknown: Brahms’ Requiem"
Facing the Unknown: Brahms’ Requiem is a major symphonic choral program presented by Choral Arts at the Strathmore Music Center. The concert explores themes of grief, acceptance, and the unknown, pairing Johannes Brahms’ deeply consoling *Ein Deutsches Requiem*—the centerpiece of the season, presented in partnership with the German Embassy—with Jake Runestad’s evocative *A Silence Haunts Me*. The program moves through loss and silence toward comfort and hope, delivered by a full symphonic chorus and orchestra under the direction of Artistic Director Marie Bucoy-Calavan.

Showtimes: One performance only, beginning at 7:00 PM. The concert runs approximately 90 minutes with no intermission.
