Metastasio's "La clemenza di Tito"

GRAMMY-winning American tenor Nicholas Phan performs arias from Metastasio's "La clemenza di Tito" in a program that explores the emperor Tito's choice of mercy over vengeance after betrayal by his closest friend. The concert features music by Mozart—the most famous composer to set this libretto—alongside works by three composers who influenced Mozart: Mysliveček, Gluck, and Hasse.
