A Beautiful Noise
A Beautiful Noise is a touring Broadway production that tells the untold true story of Neil Diamond, the Brooklyn-born singer-songwriter who became a chart-topping, award-winning American icon. Created in collaboration with Diamond himself, this uplifting musical memoir traces his journey from a kid in Brooklyn to a global superstar with 120 million albums sold, a catalogue of classics including “America,” “Forever in Blue Jeans,” and “Sweet Caroline,” and inductions into both the Songwriters and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame. The show is described as an inspiring, exhilarating, energy-filled production, similar in spirit to *Jersey Boys* and *Beautiful: The Carole King Musical*, and features Diamond’s songs that defined his career. Critically acclaimed, it has been called “dazzling” by WBUR and “a heartwarming celebration” by The Washington Times. The creative team includes music and lyrics by Neil Diamond, book by Anthony McCarten, direction by Michael Mayer, choreography by Steven Hoggett, scenic design by David Rockwell, costume design by Emilio Sosa, lighting design by Kevin Adams, sound design by Jessica Paz, hair, wig and makeup design by Luc Verschueren, music supervision and arrangements by Sonny Paladino, vocal design by AnnMarie Milazzo, incidental music and dance music arrangements and orchestrations by Brian Usifer, and illusion design by Jamie Harrison.
