Sometimes the Rain Sometimes the Sea

Sometimes the Rain Sometimes the Sea is a George Mason School of Theater production presented at the TheaterSpace in the deLaski Performing Arts Building on the Fairfax Campus of George Mason University. Described as a thoughtful new play exploring connection and loss, the production runs across four performances in late April 2027, with a preview the night before opening and a special opening-night performance that includes audience discussion and accessibility services.

The regular schedule offers two evening performances and two matinees. The show opens Friday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m., with the same time repeated Saturday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m. There are Saturday, April 24 and Sunday, April 25 matinees at 2 p.m. A preview takes place Thursday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m. The April 23 performance is followed by a Post-Show Talkback and is also offered with both ASL interpretation and audio description.
