Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia: Three Little Pigs and Other Tales
Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia presents a charming puppet-filled adventure for young audiences, weaving together three classic storybook favorites: *Goldilocks and the Three Bears*, *The Three Little Pigs*, and *The Three Billy Goats Gruff*. In this fresh reimagining, a brave raccoon and a clever mouse embark on a treasure-seeking journey, unknowingly helping the bears, pigs, and goats avoid disaster along the way. Filled with humor and gentle lessons of friendship and courage, the production features the internationally renowned company's innovative storytelling and puppetry. Founded in 1972 in Nova Scotia, Mermaid Theatre has been delighting children worldwide for over five decades.
Venue: Harris Theatre on the Fairfax Campus of George Mason University Center for the Arts.
When: Sunday, February 28, 2027. Two performances: 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Showtimes: 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Tickets: $25 per ticket, with all fees included.
Run time: Approximately 60 minutes.
Ages: Recommended for ages 3–7.
Accessibility: The 4:00 p.m. performance is sensory friendly, ASL interpreted, and audio described.
Pre-show activities: Family-friendly activities will be offered in the Center's main lobby starting one hour before each performance.
