A Mountain For Elodie
A humorous and heartwarming new musical, *A Mountain for Elodie* is the semi-autobiographical work of award-winning singer-songwriter Benjamin Scheuer, known for his show *The Lion*. The story follows Ben as he navigates rockstar success, meets the love of his life, and strives to be a different kind of father than his own. With every strum of his guitar, Scheuer weaves the joys and tribulations of career, marriage, and fatherhood into a soaring melody. Performed by Scheuer with a band, the show explores anxiety, impatience, parenthood, grief, and love in a moving ode to the unpredictable but beautiful mess of life. It has been praised by *The Washington Post* for its "easy, knowing lyrics and disciplined musicianship."
