Latin History For Morons

Returning to the Arlington stage, *Latin History For Morons* is a high-energy one-man show that blends stand-up comedy, history lecture, and personal storytelling. Written by John Leguizamo and performed by Emmy-nominated actor Brian Quijada, the production follows “Professor” John as he tries to teach his son—and the audience—the real, unvarnished history of Latin America after the boy faces racist bullying. Armed with a chalkboard and props, the show races from the Maya to the conquistadors to modern U.S. contributions, mixing sharp humor with poignant questions about identity and what it means to be American.
