A Raisin in the Sun

A Raisin in the Sun, Lorraine Hansberry's landmark 1959 drama, gets a potent revival at Shakespeare Theatre Company's Klein Theatre, directed by Tim Bond and produced in association with Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The story centers on the Younger family, living under one roof on Chicago's South Side, whose fraught dynamics surface when a life insurance check arrives after the patriarch's death.
